Our Work in Kenya

We are partnering with two orphanages in rural Kenya, and helping to educate over 275 orphaned girls.

The Suvia Children’s Home, in Kali, Kenya, is home to 38 girls from preschool to university age. OGM has supported these girls with scholarship funds to ensure that they can attend a nearby school. We are also in the process of building a 22 classroom Poly-Technical School on the grounds of the orphanage where the girls can attend school with other children from the near by communities. The school fees from the children in the community will help fund the Poly-Technical School for a long term basis.

The Eagle Rise Girls Centre and School is located in rural Kenya along the busy Mombassa-Nairobi Highway. The Centre currently houses and educates girls from the age of 14-18 at a Senior School. OGM is partnering with this wonderful organization to help build a Junior School for girls ages 7-13. Once the additional school is built they will be able to offer education, shelter, food, and psycho-social support to 240 orphaned girls who are currently caught in the horrific graft of a sex trafficking ring.
