Our Work in Haiti

The first place God called us to go is Haiti. We have strategic partnerships with two orphanages in Carrefour, just outside of Port-Au-Prince.

The Good Shepherd Orphanage

We've partnered with The Good Shepherd Orphanage to build and equip the orphanage with a new Learning Center. This organization has been in existence for over 40 years and is a testimony to God's faithfulness. Since beginning work at TGSO in 2017, God has formed an amazing bond between our team and the children and staff at the orphanage. Currently we are in the process of turning a dilapidated concrete building into an 1000 square foot (approx.) Learning Center at the orphanage that will provide the children with first time access to computers, hundreds of book, and other educational materials. In 2019 we plan on supplying the Learning Center with these items. Currently there are 34 children that call TGSO “home.”

The Association Handicap Carrefour is a severely under-resourced non-profit serving the handicapped and learning disabled community in Carrefour. Despite monumental obstacles, this organization works diligently to provide a learning environment and safe haven for these children and adults. 

We are blessed with the wonderful opportunity to provide these very special children with much needed school supplies, which frees up more funds for important daily living items. ASHCA is home to over 20 special needs children.
